It’s funny how until you go through something yourself or get educated about the world, then your eyes are actually open. You can then tell by just one look into someone’s eyes, what they have been through.

Been on Facebook for under a minute and scrolling through the wall.
Yes I see people who are happy it is Christmas but they all just seem so greedy. All they are posting about the gifts they have already gotten or getting.

Don’t you realise that Christmas isn’t all about the presents?
Don’t you realise that it is a time to come together with your family and spend it with them.
To enjoy there company and to be happy and thankful for what you have already.
It’s about the giving of the gifts and seeing the bright/ happy face of the person you gave it to.

It just so happens that receiving a gift on Christmas Day is part of it all.

Now in not saying that I don’t like getting presents because 99.9% of people do, but I’m saying take a moment, breath, reflect on the year you have had and enjoy the time you will be spending with your loved ones xx
